Bringin' the stoopid #006: W95T

I'm not particularly computer savvy.  I don't have any real love for any specific system or OS.  I like what works, and I generally don't like snooty Apple users or their bland-looking products.  I do remember Windows 95, though, just because it was the first Windows I ever really used.

This page brought up some weird mental associations for me.  Looking at those slightly off boxes gave me a sense of deja vu, as if I were sitting in a cold kitchen on Killam Avenue in Norfolk, VA, playing Civ2 for days or once again getting drawn far too quickly into the newly-discovered-yet-apparently-bottomless depths of internet porn.  The fellow sailors who rented Camp Killam were happy to share their Win95-running computers with me, and dang if I didn't spend insane amounts of time on them.

All that to say that the combination of those memories, tiredness, and being hopped up on OTC cold medicine probably made the almost-Lovecraftian weirdness of this site even more effective.  It's stoopid, alright ... creepy stoopid.
