If you believe in some form of naturalistic evolution, what convinced you?
If you believe the earth is four billion years old, what convinced you?
If you believe that all matter and energy was compressed into an infinitely hot, small, and dense point, what convinced you?
There are a lot of questions I could ask, but I think the most important is this:
What convinced you?
Very clever people who devote their lives to discerning fact through throrough, gruelling observation convinced me! People who put down the majesty of the universe to God because they don't know what else to sum it up as don't. All down to opinion but I might as well put belief in a giant divine teapot or Hanuman the Hindu Monkey-God rather than the Christian God. It's nonsensical in my eyes and nothing more than illogical wishful thinking.
